Particularities of preparing files for laser and inkjet printing

Ink Jet printing (covers,photo insert,canvases),laser printing (covers,photo printing)

The colors in the design should not exceed the limits of CMYK color coverage,since the color of the printing will then differ from the color of the monitor,If you select in the "Preview" - "Warning,when out of field coverage colour" in Photoshop,put a checkmark,then you will see which color went out of the range(gray color), and not forget to remove the checkmark.To check the color when printing,select checkmark in the "Preview"- "Color Proof" menu.At the end , uncheck it.

Please note that ink jet printing differs in color from photo printing,because they have a different texture,density and color of the material.
If you want to get black in real black instead of dark grey,then black should be a composite color(C85,M85,Y85, K100);

Laser printing (covers,photo printing)

To print a black and white image,the file must be in the gray scale profile

There should be no uniform backgrounds (spot),as it appears when printing a strip(laser printing features)and you need to add nois (minimum 3 %)

The photo cover of the "Graduation program" on laser printer has color limitations in the design of the cover.It is necessary to lighten the spine os that the CMYK indices at the darkest point are not used in the amount of 60 %.On the spine and bend field (near the spine )due to the large amount of toner,the lamination will stay !

Clarity must be done 3mm left and right of the extreme bend guide(to find on the side)
